Auction Results

Auction # 59 took place November 20th, 21st & 22nd 2015.

Keith McCormick’s recent Palm Springs Collector Car Auction again won a checkered flag, finishing with 535 crossing the auction block and a 70 per cent sales rate. A total of 372 vehicles went to new buyers at the November 20-22 auction, generating just under $7 million in sales, “which is on par with previous auctions,” said Keith McCormick.

The star of the auction, a 1959 Cadillac Series 62 convertible in pristine condition, sold for $136,500. Two Chevy’s garnered much buyer attention: a 1958 Corvette Roadster sold for $90,300 and a 1957 Bel Air convertible sold for $75,600.

All in all a total of 535 cars crossed the block, 372 sold for a total of $6,859,582. A 70% sale rate.

The next auction will be Feb. 26-28, 2016, celebrating McCormick’s 30 years in the collectable car auction business in Palm Springs. It will be held at the Palm Springs Convention Center near downtown Palm Springs and McCormick’s showroom.

Note: Sales prices include our 5% buy fee.
