Auction Results

Auction #74 took place February 24th, 25th & 26th at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

McCormick’s Palm Springs Collector Car Auction on Feb. 24-26 posted $4.2 million in sales during record-setting rain and snowstorms in Southern California.

The inclement weather reduced the number of sellers, who cancelled or simply could not make it to the event, according to Jason McCormick, general manager. Buyers, however, were present and persistent. Of the 329 total number of vehicles on hand, 194 or 60 per cent were sold.

Highest sale went to a 1960 Mercedes 220 SE (lot #246) for $159,000, followed by a 2016 Mercedes G63 AMG 4-door (#248) for $86,920. A 1987.5 Rolls Royce Corniche II convertible (#263) fetched $61,216.

The next McCormick auction will be held on Nov. 17-19, 2023.
