On February 26th, 27th & 28th we conducted our 70th live Classic car Auction in the outdoor event area of The Palm Springs Convention Center. This was our 2nd live event produced during the Covid Pandemic. This event followed all CDC guidelines to keep staff and attendees safe.

While the number of consigned vehicles was down from our usual pre-covid numbers of over 500 vehicles the event was extremely successful with total sales surpassing our previous November auction even though this sale had fewer consignments. McCormick noted “There’s a shortage of high quality classic cars on the market and those that are available sell for strong money due to supply and demand”

All in all a total of 322 vehicles crossed the block with 230 changing hands for an impressive 72% sale rate, well above the nation average at a reserve auction.
