Car was purchased in early 1990’s to compete in autocross in southern California. It was time-trialed and road-raced primarily with Porsche Owners Club on most all California road racing tracks in the mid to late 1990’s as a stock 1.7 litre. In the late 1990’s it was upgraded to the current configuration with the building and addition of a 2165 cc 914-4 engine, 911sc suspension and brakes, 5-lug wheels and various safety equipment and continued to compete with POC and occasionally PCA for a few more years. It has been primarily a street car since mid 2000’s and while it was stored indoors and not driven for a few years in the early 2010’s, it has been driven weekly since approximately 2014 and always stored indoors with few exceptions.
