1968 Imperial Crown - This Washington state Imperial, Crown Four Door Hardtop Sedan is finished in Polar white with a triple Turquoise Frost leather interior which shows soft and beautiful in perfect mid century colors. The 440 engine runs incredibly strong as does the torqueflite transmission. Recently upgraded AC has been converted with new compressor, dryer etc. This example features power windows , deluxe radio with front and rear speakers, working power antenna power seat, reclining passenger seat, handpainted coach lines, Auto-plot, tilt and telescope wheel and more. The 1967 and 1968 Imperials are the last to be Branded and titled as Imperials and not Chryslers and featured crisp Elwood Engel designs to compete with Lincoln. This year also features Danish modern design in the cabin including antiqued bronze appliques. This very authentic and original example recently traveled to Las Vegas and back and didn’t skip a beat. Included in the sale are owners manual, shop manual and lost of documentation of recent and historic work. The short 67/68 design cycle is becoming very hard to find and is gaining interest in the collector community and the last pre- fuselage era examples in this excellent condition are indeed very rare.
