This 1968 Mustang was built in San Jose and sold new in Pasadena (Los Angeles DSO 71) and still retains both of its original black license plates. Believed to still have less than 100,000 original miles from new. This is not any ordinary C-code coupe but rather a rarer J-code denoting a factory 302 4 barrel engine. Still in place along with the rest of the driveline the engine, transmission and rear end are original to the car down to the correct and restored Autolite 4300 carburetor. The car’s entire and #’s matching original drive line was completely rebuilt less than 200 miles ago in the spring of 2019. The factory engine was refurbished and is still standard bore, the C4 transmission and 8 inch rear end were rebuilt concurrently. The engine compartment has been fully detailed as well. A brand new vinyl top and front carlite windshield were installed in December of 2018. The car retains all of it’s original sheet metal and has 4 brand new BFG radials on factory style steel wheels.
