LaSalle was an American brand of luxury automobiles manufactured and marketed by General Motors' Cadillac division from 1927 through 1940 Like Cadillac, the LaSalle brand name was based on that of a French explorer, René-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle. The car features a Flat head V-8 attached to a 3 speed Synchromesh transmission. Cast-iron block and cylinder head with Carter two-barrel carburetor. This 1938 Lasalle 4 Door Sedan is a fine example of an era gone by. Painted in black with tan/gray striped broad cloth interior. The interior is equipped with front and rear bench seats. Polished chrome trim and bumpers make this Lasalle a looker. The paint is lovely. It is equipped with additional triple safety lights and blinkers. This is a splendid example that will be enjoyable for events, tours, weekends and picnics. With ample room for the whole gang.
