    Owner Comments:
The Mustang was built in San Jose, California, in December 1965 and sold through Ford’s Los Angeles District Sales Office. The engine is a 289 with an automatic transmission. Has undergone a partial restoration by California Classics & Collectables and the Mustang Shop of San Diego. The original owner sold the Mustang to my mother in 1967 because the original owner could not keep up the monthly payments. My mother traded our Ford Fairlane and paid cash to purchase the Mustang. She drove the Mustang as her primary car until she quit driving in the early 1990s. She stored it in her home garage, and I periodically drove it to keep it up. I inherited the Mustang from my mother when she died in July 2013. The car was transferred to me in October 2015. I registered and relicensed it with the DMV of California and insured it for street travel with Progressive Insurance. It has not been driven for any distance since my mother stopped driving in the early 1990s and has been garaged for the entire period. In 2019 I commissioned partial restoration by Mustang specialists in San Diego and Vista California. The Mustang is in overall good condition.
