This Ferrari 340 MM re-creation was constructed approximately 10 years ago by MC Auto Creations in Texas using the chassis and running gear from a 1977 Ferrari 400 GT. Featuring aluminum barchetta-style bodywork finished in red, the car is powered by a 4.8-liter Colombo quad-cam V12 that breathes through six sidedraft Weber carburetors and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Running gear carried over from the 400 GT chassis includes hydraulic disc brakes with four-piston calipers as well as double-wishbone suspension. Adjustable coilover shock absorbers are in place at each corner, while the 400 GTs rear self-leveling units have been removed.
