This 1956 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by its matching-numbers 265/225hp V8 engine with dual 4-barrel carburetors, paired with the original 3-speed manual transmission. It has earned multiple NCRS honors, including the Duntov Mark of Excellence, an NCRS Top Flight Award in April 2005 and an NCRS Performance Verification Award in June 2005. Equipment includes factory radio delete and heater delete options, and it is one of 547 Corvettes produced in 1956 with power windows. A power- operated convertible top is also fitted. During the restoration, each original component and accessory was individually restored, and the original brightwork was either preserved or protessionally restored. The interior and convertible top were completed by John Kennedy with attention to factory-correct materials and patterns. The car retains its original glass and original headlights. Included with the vehicle are NCRS judging sheets and the original shock absorbers.
