1969 Z28...VIN: 124379L530778, This is a true Z/28 which comes with its original # Matching Block, You want this car as much for what it was as what it is!, We started with a very nice survivor-ish dusk blue Z/28. The only rust on the entire car was slight bubbling under the paint behind the rear wheels. We sanded the whole car to bare metal and welded in small patches on the quarter. All of the frame and suspension was blasted and painted with Endura (closest thing to power coating). We went through everything; suspension, drive train and electrical and it shows. We simply did not think that the original dusk blue did this car any justice so we added the RS front and painted the car Tuxedo Black. With all due respect to the purists, we think color changes are ok on a car that they sold over 20,000 of. The motor currently in this car is casting #3970010 and the heads are #3917291 (F157) and 3890462 (E36) all of which indicates a rare 1967 350 C.I.D. 290 H.P. engine. It runs perfectly, sounds wonderful and is very, very powerful.With this car comes the original Numbers Matching DZ302 block. The block has not been honed or machined and is guaranteed re-buildable.
