Time to sell my shoebox and move on to another project. It is as far as I know an original southern California Car. It has NO rust. I believe the graphics on the sides are from the original Pacific Mining and Supply Co' in L.A. It has a newly rebuilt 350 Chevy, Edlebrock Performer carb and manifold, mild roller cam and tube headers. Trans is a turbo 350. It has a 1980 Monte Carlo front frame clip with power steering, cut down A arms with air bags, vented rotor disc brakes and tilt wheel with the original steering wheel adapted. The rear is a Currie 9" Ford on leaf springs and bags. The underside is clean and dry, painted semi-flat black, NO RUST. Salt Flat Mags and BFG Radial TA tires in very good shape. The interior is tan and brown vinyl like original, in excellent condition. The interior panels are original style mahogany. All the interior metal is powder coated dark brown, with SS screws. All the gauges work, the bezel was professionally restored and rewired to 12v and is as new. The clock works. The wipers do not, although the motor is in the car, I don't know what is wrong with it. It has Classic Hot Rod AC, all electric with heat. It has the rare third seat and black carpet. It seats eight people. The dome light works. It has a 200 watt stereo with 4 speakers and power antenna. It has power doors locks. All the locks work (including the rear hatch) with the original key. It rattles like hell. The car is finished in tan primer. The body has some minor dents that add to the look. The top is perfect. NO RUST ANYWHERE. I had some wood replaced by a professional woodie guy, most of the wood is original and in good shape, with patina. All the SS buttons are new. This is a solid, dependable, drive anywhere hot rod. It sits 'right'. I hope that the next owner will enjoy it as I have and not 'fix it up' or something silly like that. I have had a great time with this car, driven it all over the state with zero problems. Time for someone else to enjoy.
