1967 Corvette Sting Ray 427 390 Horse power, frame off Rotisserie restoration with less than 700 miles since completion, a true frame off car with a stack of photos showing the progress of the car restoration. Purchased in 1979 and used sparingly this car had 79000 miles then was give too Mr. Richard Bettz for a complete restoration. Mr. Bettz is an expert in award winning restorations from 300SL’s to Shelbys and vintage corvettes. This 67 roadster spent nearly three years at his shop and cost over $100,000.00 for the restoration not including the car, there are photos of the restoration from start to finish with receipts, these items will go with the car. This car has the original 427 Motor that was in it when it left the factory, it was taken down and completely rebuild with all new OEM parts, correctly painted, polished and chromed using all OEM accessories. The motor compartment is immaculate in every detail. The original 4 speed transmission was also taken apart and rebuilt with a fresh clutch put in. Every piece of the motor and trans are NEW including all fasteners, nuts, washers and bolts etc. This motor runs smooth has lots of power and zero heating issues. All cooling items also are new OEM. The four speed transmission shifts effortlessly in every gear all syncros are new the throws are precise and smooth. Factory New side pipes give this 67 that big block sound, The car has power disc brakes up front also completely new and zero pulling their balanced perfectly, power steering, Teak telescoping wood steering wheel, power windows, all new glass. The frame of the car was sent out and powered coated to a shiny black, the frame is very nice and shows well. The wheels are larger 8 inch wide rally wheels with new BF Goodrich rubber and all four corners. The car was given too Bob Moon too paint, Moon has painted many award winning street rods that have won the Oakland Roadster show and he did this 67 right, painted to the original color this car came in the paint is one of the best you will find on a corvette of this era, at the time of paint all exterior chrome was sent out and triple platted I mean ALL OF IT, every interior and exterior part that is chrome has been re plated, items that were too be polished were sent out and polished. The fit of every body gap is perfect; shutting the doors will show the quality of the craftsmanship and man hours that went into this car. Every rubber trim and weather stripping is new throughout the car. A new top was put on; the frame was powered coated before the installation of the top. The interior is Tan leather seats, tan carpets, and tan dash and door panels. Interior is NEW OEM. All of the gauges were sent out to North Hollywood Speedometer and rebuilt, calibrated and the faces and markers redone, all gauges work including the rebuilt clock. The AM/FM Radio also rebuilt and works, all of the dash knobs were re polished and look like a piece of jewelry. The bottom of the car is as fresh and clean as the top, The frame was powder coated, all new Fasteners were cleaned polished and Zinc treated prior to installation, every piece on the bottom of the car is also new. This is a wonderful 67 Big block roadster built by someone who knows how to put one of these back correctly, it is a true drivers car and I encourage that you look and drive the car for yourself. There are cars out there that look the part but if you are going to drive it fall short of the quality of performance. There are zero rattles or squeaks in this car, with less than 700 miles on the car it is a new car. This car has never been shown or available for sale.
