This great SL was purchased new from Mercedes-Benz in California. It has spent its entire life in California and Nevada. This is a two-owner car. This is an original, non- restored, all numbers matching 380SL with all the original Owner’s Manuals and books intact. The speedometer shows 99,000 and we believe it to be true. This backed up by a totally clean CarFax report. It has always been professionally maintained. It has the powerful 3.8 liter fuel injected, V8 engine coupled with a 3-speed automatic transmission. It has power steering, power brakes, power locks and factory a/c, which blows ice cold. It has absolutely no rust or accident damage. The body panels are all in perfect, original, factory-fresh shape. All the inner areas, including the door, trunk and hood jambs are in excellent condition with no rust. This is a totally rust free car from top to bottom. There are no rips, tears or wear marks on the original interior. The dash has no cracks, and the visors are like brand new and flat. The clock works and keeps perfect time. The original carpets are in very good condition. The blue canvas soft top is a brand new Robbins top that has just been professionally installed. The chrome and aluminum trim are also in excellent condition. The trunk is like new with the original carpet in excellent condition. It has a new spare and the original jack and tool kit. The battery is less than a month old. It still has the original Becker radio and it works great. The engine compartment is extremely clean as well as the under-carriage.
