This great SL was purchased new in California. It has spent its entire life in California. This is a one family owner car. This is an original, non-restored, all numbers matching 450SL. The speedometer shows 77,800 and we believe it to be true. It has always been professionally maintained. It has the powerful 4.5 liter fuel injected, V8 engine coupled with a 3-speed automatic transmission. It has power steering, power brakes, power locks and factory a/c, which blows ice cold. It has absolutely no rust. The body panels are all in original, factory-fresh shape. All the inner areas, including the door, trunk and hood jambs are in excellent condition with no rust. This is a totally rust free car from top to bottom. It has a nice original interior. The original carpets are in very good condition. The blue canvas soft top is a brand new Robbins top that has just been professionally installed. The car has a new exhaust system, new shocks, and a new battery. The chrome and aluminum trim are also in nice condition. The trunk is also in great shape with the original carpet. It still has the original Becker radio. The engine compartment is extremely clean as well as the under-carriage. Mechanically the car is in great condition. The Goodyear tires have lots of tread left. Everything works as it should.
