    1964 Plymouth Valiant Signet 200 Sport Convertible Lightly modified 273 V8, with 904 push button automatic. New metallic blue original correct Sport bucket seat interior and carpet. New chrome dash bezels and arm rests, new convertible boot. Power white top in excellent condition. Rust free body. Excellent white paint, a few touch ups professionally done. This car is ready for a cross country trip with no problems. Driven to Arizona, a few times, and up to Central California Coast for three annual club events. It starts easily and cruises well. With rear gearing at 2.71, it cruises 80 mph at 3K rpm all day. With upgraded disk brakes in front and larger drums in the rear, it stops easily and true. The late 60’s, 15”, large bolt pattern, MoPar rally wheels look great and the ride is comfortable with larger tires and gas filled shocks. Purchase mileage – 54,345 original miles at purchase in Jan. 2013. Brakes, suspension, interior, fuel system and cooling system replaced at that time. Body, top and paint in good condition. New engine built at 57,783 miles due to failure of engine gaskets and seals from long term storage without being driven. Restorations/ Recondition / Upgrades: Brakes / Suspension / Fuel System / Interior / Cooling System Replace: Brakes / Suspension: New E Body –Barracuda/Challenger brakes and suspension components. Dual reservoir brake Master Cylinder All new lines, slave cylinders, suspension linkages, etc. 11” disk brakes up front, 10” drums in the rear Gas filled shocks 8.75 rear end with 2.71 gears Large bolt pattern – 5 on 4.5 Late 60’s 15 x 7” rally wheels – silver powder coat with trim rings and charcoal center lug caps New Steering Box Fuel System: New fuel tank and sending unit. Interior: New “Sport” original replacement metallic blue upholstery, carpet. New chrome dash bezels and arm rests, vinyl paint reconditioning on soft surfaces. Cooling System: all new components Twin core aluminum radiator, heater core, thermostatically controlled auxiliary radiator fan All new hoses – heater, radiator, etc. Engine Replace / Build: Engine: Complete engine build and balance using a ’67 273 for better intake manifold fit Bored .060 over Double roller timing chain New oil pump, water pump, fuel pump and all internals New Edelbrock 600 cfm 4BBL carb, MoPar 340 4BBL manifold 318 heads used for larger intake valves, ported to match 4BBL manifold Street cam with higher lift, slightly longer duration. Brass freeze plugs New electronic ignition system Dual exhaust including new transmission cross-member with notch for right side pipe Original 904 transmission serviced, tightened, and determined fine to go. Body Reconditioning: Body / Chrome: Re-chromed and straighten bumpers Paint appears to be a second respray with high quality paint and clear coat Minor paint flaws professionally corrected Body bright work is clean and complete Electrical System: New alternator, voltage regulator, battery. Wiring is fine.
