    Owner Comments:
1936 Packard LaBaron All Weather Cabriolet. The car was bought from Car's of the Stars in Buena Park, CA from one of their first Auctions early 1970's. It was stated at that time the car was purchased from the Charlie Chaplin Estate. The Packard has 11,057 original miles as of 3/11/2017. The motor is a V12, 3 speed trans, manual brakes with vacuum power assist along with vacuum power assist clutch. The engine runs strong and smooth. As far as I know the engine has never been taken apart. It had a cosmic restoration for the movie "Betsy" and it was also in Remington Steel TV show. Body was paint a light mint green with dark green fenders. 2009 it was repainted Hunter Green body to a color available in 1936. We sent DuPont the color chart from 1936 and they matched it for todays paint. The fenders were painted Black. The original color was blue as the dash still is. The last paint job is okay but does have some issues that I found after I got it home and started detailing it for a local car show. He didn't paint the underside of the hood, have found a few spots where he buffed through the paint and some small areas of blistering plus some chips. Neither paint jobs had the fender removed. It has always been stored inside in a garage so there is no rust. There are two dents one on the right rear fender at the rear of the fender and on the right running board. The wood for the trunk lid needs to be replace. Have some of the original pieces and the tires are new. Had planned on replacing them and paint the rims black to match the fenders. I have one of the Spears for the side of the hood pictured Have the original running board mats Have the both ends of the chrome pieces for both running boards. Have not located the long chrome pieces for the running board. Have the top chrome piece for the luggage rack. Have two new Side mount Mirrors Have some new rubber for front and rear bumpers and for motor mount.
