AMC Pacers were built from 1975 to 1980 by American Motors. They were extremely innovative for that time having large wrap around glass, wide stance, 6" longer right hand door for easier back seat entry and the first American car with rack & pinion steering. An older gentleman owned this vehicle where it had been in storage for over 20 years. A recent tune-up, new battery with rebuilt front disc brakes make for a great driver. Extras include deluxe wheel covers, fold down rear seat, automatic transmission and the optional 6-cylinder 258cid motor. Documents include 1976 New Mexico title in the original owners name, owner's manual, showroom brochure, and warranty. This one owner Pacer DL comes from New Mexico. It came from a collector of AMC cars that stopped driving them around 75,000 miles. The interior and exterior are almost flawless. The Southwest seat design is perfect. As you can see from the plates, the last year driven was 1991. Car blows ICE COLD AC. We just repainted the driver and passenger doors, and hood since the original owner removed the door trim and badges. All of the original parts come with the Pacer.
