1926 Buick Roadster model 26-24. Photo documented frame off restoration, receipts, 207 cubic inch OHV 6 Cylinder, Dual Spares, Moto-Meter hood ornament. Runs Great! Delightful to drive, easy to start, smooth and plenty of power. 4 wheel brakes. This 1926 Buick Roadster was beautifully restored in light yellow and black fenders with an eye for authenticity, correctness and originality. The extensive photo and receipt binder shows the car right down to the frame, with high quality work. All of the chrome was redone, the top was carefully restored, the interior done in the factory pattern, the removable top done in the right stay-fast material. The engine and transmission were rebuilt, and are beautifully detailed in the correct dark green Buick engine paint with black accessories and trim. The radiator is the correct – and very difficult to obtain – honeycomb core. The 6 wooden spoke artillery style wheels were completely professionally rebuilt and refinished, and mounted with wide whitewall tires. Dashboard instrumentation includes drum speedometer, temperature gauge, oil pressure guage, and amp meter. The gasoline gauge mounts on the gas tank. The styling is beautiful, with racy lines, a sunvisor, and a rakish appearance that made the 1920’s roar! Dual rear mount spares make the fenders look longer! This car was featured in the Buick bugle Magazine in 1996. Handwritten documents indicate that it was in California its whole life and in the same family from new until 1989! We believe it to have had only 4 owners since new. It was used in the filming of “the Untouchables” TV show. It’s in beautiful condition, it has been lovingly restored, maintained and properly stored indoors in sunny, dry Southern California, and it’s great fun to drive!
