This 1964 Cadillac Convertible deVille is beautifully finished in the original color Firemist Red Metallic, (Code 98) with lovely fresh chrome and trim. Cadillac improved the 1964 models with the new, bigger 429 V-8 with 340 horsepower and a whopping 480 foot pounds of torque! Also new for 1964 – the Turbo-Hydramatic 400 Automatic transmission! It is wonderfully equipped with 429 V-8, Turbo 400 automatic, Power steering, Power brakes with dual chamber master cylinder, Power Top, Power windows, Power doorlocks, power seat, remote driver mirror, AM/FM radio, and Heater / defroster. The factory also installed the Soft-Ray tinted glass, as well as seat belts both front and back! The factory Accessory codes are EYVA. It has red leather interior, ( trim code 29) and it is in excellent condition. The dash and instruments are beautiful, the gauges work, as do the lights, wipers and horn. The AM/FM radio is a nice option which works! The former owner had this car since 1993, and we purchased it from their estate this year. Restoration work from the prior and current owner includes very high quality paint, chrome, complete brake system restoration, white sidewall 15 inch tires and more. It runs and drives as a Cadillac should – smoothly, quietly, and with an abundance of power, and commands total attention on the boulevard!
