1976 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham - Special ordered and purchased new at Jim Colvin Cadillac in Texarkana, Arkansas. Second owners brought the car to Southern California in 1993, I bought the car three years ago, and I live locally in Rancho Mirage. The original owner ordered the Eldorado only color, "Firethorne Firemist Metallic", matching vinyl top with full RED leather interior. Most Fleetwood's of this era were black/white or silver, with "velour" interiors. Very few special colors such as this exist today. The paint upgrade cost $146.00 in 1976. This Cadillac is powered by a 500 CID V8, 8.2 Liter engine and has 53,000 original miles. The car is in original, unrestored condition. Excellent interior with no signs of wear, original Cadillac Floor mats. The trunk is completely original and flawless. The Vinyl top is original, in perfect condition, including "opera lights". The engine bay is very clean, and original. The car drives just as it looks, a great boulevard cruiser and excellent highway performer. Other than minor paint cosmetic work over the years, the finish is original from the factory. There are no signs of accidents or body repairs. The chrome is in amazing original condition with absolutely no rust or pitting of any kind.
