1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula 455 big block 4speed. This gorgeous bird started life as a True Southwest rust free car original formula and has gone through an extensive restoration in order to transform it into this amazing retro classic car you see today. It was completely striped down and taken apart to paint every individual panel separately and reassembled. All new re-chromed original body trims. BASF diamond correct admiralty code 29 paint was used on the exterior to retains its originality. Interior underwent little restoration, dash is all original and crack free as you can see, new carpet was installed about 2 years ago. A fully built Pontiac big block 455 with aluminum Edelbrock heads, built lower block with forged .30 over SD pistons with Molly rings, Comp cam kit, true roller timing set, high pressure oil pump, comp valve springs, all HRP bolts used on and transfers power to the wheels through a brand new TA performance 12 bolt rear- end with 331 gears. The 4sp M20 transmission was rebuilt and fitted with a McLeod twin disc racing clutch. MSD Multispark ignition and coil pack, Taylor made wires. To much performance upgrades to list , pushes approximately 550hp/525flbs of torque. The car is sitting on all new Hotchkis Sport Suspension including front springs, rear leaf springs, shocks, also Hotchkis front and rear sway bars. All new poly urethane suspension bushings including all body mounts were used in the installation. The undercarriage and sub-frames have been media blasted and repainted black to show the originality of the pans. All new undercarriage wiring and 1/2 inch aluminum fuel lines were installed with all new performance fuel system including Magnafuel Quickstar 275 performance fuel pump, regulator, built custom fuel sump feeding a 850cfm Holly double pumper, Edelbrock torque2 manifold, Hooker Super comp ceramic headers, with Wilwood 4 Wheel disk brakes with slotted and drilled rotters that brings this beast to a dead stop on demand. Brand new retro 17" Year-One Honeycomb rims wrapped in new NITTO Extreme ZR tires, 285/40/ZR17 rears, 275/40/ZR17 front. This car has been built with the intent to drive and enjoy.
